Atlantic Language Galway has announced that the school has been awarded the Green Standard Schools Accreditation Certificate. 

"This is a huge result for Atlantic Language Galway and a matter of pride for our whole community. Our great Staff, Teachers and Students together committed to achieving this goal by reducing consumption and optimising how we use resources," the school announced on social media. 

Green Standard Schools is a global association that awards accreditation to language schools that maintain high environmental standards. The organisation awards accreditation to providers of language education that can demonstrate that they maintain high environmental standards.

Speaking of this award, Atlantic Language Galway stated that, "this objective is also thanks to big decisions taken by our Governance in order to only choose suppliers able to guarantee electricity from renewable sources, offer free drinking water for everyone, elaborate and adopt a new Paper-Free Policy and only choose sustainable products that meet acceptable environmental standards."
